Every year, MSO at MSU will host a Malaysian Night event that serves a purpose of promoting the Malaysian culture to MSU and to the Lansing community.
This year's Malaysian Night is rebranded TUAH, a play about the legendary Malaccan warrior named Hang Tuah.

The Malaysian students were working hard the night before as well as the afternoon before the Malaysian Night event was held.
Within the play, traditional dance scenes including Joget, Tarian bunga rampai, and zapin as well as Silat martial arts were performed and demonstrated to the audience.

After the play, exhibition booths and photo booths are open to educate the public about Malaysia. Free Malaysian food including Beef rendang, chicken curry, vegetarian fried noodles and the famous teh tarik drink (pulled milk tea) is served for the audience to get a taste of traditional Malay dishes. For desserts, MSO ordered donuts and special sugar cookies with the Jalur Gemilang and Spartan Malaya logo on them.
The attendees will will get free door gifts to take home as a souvenir from the Malaysian Night.
